Elaine Devereux

Neurodevelopmental Practitioner

Elaine is a seasoned speech and language therapist who brings extensive expertise from her work in children's and youth services throughout Merseyside. With a diverse background spanning health, education, and criminal justice, she specialises in addressing the communication requirements of vulnerable individuals across various age groups.

 

Alongside her hands-on clinical practice, Elaine provides comprehensive training to fellow professionals on a wide array of subjects on speech, language, and communication across different stages of life. She is proficient in neurodevelopmental assessment and is actively engaged in crafting person-centred care plans for individuals with neurodivergent profiles.

Jayne Foley

Meet Jayne Foley, our Educational Consultant and Neurodevelopmental Practitioner. Jayne has an impressive background as a qualified Head Teacher and extensive experience in school improvement across Wirral and the North-West.

​

She’s passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals and ensuring schools are inclusive. As an expert in Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), Jayne provides personalised hands-on support to students with additional needs, trains teachers, and works with schools to create effective strategies.

Jayne’s dedication to students and educators is inspiring, making her a key part of our team and our mission for inclusive, empowering learning environments.

 

In her spare time, Jayne enjoys travelling, watching Everton, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Ruwan De Soysa is a highly esteemed Neurodevelopmental Consultant Paediatrician at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool. As the lead specialist in diagnosing ADHD, Dr. De Soysa brings exceptional expertise and experience to his role. He has participated in numerous research projects, solidifying his reputation as an expert in his field. A passionate advocate for neurodivergent young people, Dr. De Soysa is dedicated to enhancing their lives through comprehensive care and support.

 

Beyond his professional commitments, he enjoys travelling with his family, exploring new destinations, and creating lasting memories.

Una is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. 

 

Since qualifying with a First Class Hons in Speech and Language Therapy in 2011, Una has worked in both the NHS and private sectors. She has worked in a range of clinical multidisciplinary teams that include adult autism assessment and intervention,  neurodevelopmental assessment and intervention, child and adolescent mental health, independent speech and language therapy for paediatric and  young adults with complex needs,  educational settings and child development centres.

 

Most recently she been in post as Senior Practitioner and Team Lead for Powys Integrated Autism Service.

Christina is a highly qualified and versatile professional with a BSc Hons in Occupational Therapy and a Master's in Child and Adolescent Psycho-analytical Observations. She is a Level 3 Sensory Integrated Therapist and holds an Advanced Masters in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnosis. Additionally, Christina is proficient in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

With a deep passion for supporting neurodivergent young people, Christina is dedicated to improving their lives through tailored therapeutic interventions and empathetic care. Her diverse skill set and extensive training enable her to provide comprehensive and effective support, making a positive impact on the lives of those she works with.

Zoe Hodge

With two decades of experience in mental health, Zoe has established herself as a dedicated professional in her field. Zoe’s expertise notable extends to conducting ASD and ADHD assessments.

As a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Zoe applies evidence-based practices to support her clients effectively. In addition to specialising in trauma and OCD treatment for young people, she brings a breadth of knowledge and empathy to her work, further training in Compassion

 

Focussed Therapy and EMDR.

At the core of her approach is a strong pro-neurodiversity stance, emphasising the importance of recognising and valuing the diverse talents and strengths inherent in each person.

Anoushka is a Speech and Language Therapist and Neurodevelopmental Assessor with over 20 years of experience.

 

Autism assessment and intervention have been Anoushka's main areas of expertise, since graduating from City University in 2001. After working in the NHS for 15 years, Anoushka and Elaine set up their own private practice. Since then Anoushka has had opportunities to work with families both in the UK and overseas and develop skills providing neurodevelopmental assessment and intervention virtually.

 

Anoushka has always championed neurodiversity and is particularly interested in supporting diversity and inclusion offering bilingual assessments and intervention and ensuring equal access to services. Anoushka is also skilled at the identification of subtle presentations of autism.

 

Anoushka has two young boys who keep her well-versed in Football, Bluey, Minecraft and Bugs.
